The tomatoes, which come from Italian cultivation, are harvested after reaching their ripeness, crushed and placed in the blazing sun to slowly extract the liquid from them. This step gives the tomatoes their intense flavor. After the drying phase, the tomatoes are processed into a paste. This tomato paste is refined with high quality olive oil, wine vinegar, parsley, oregano, chili flakes, garlic and salt. By using high quality products, the paté does not contain added sugar and artificial flavors. The Mediterranean paste is ideal as a spread, to refine pasta dishes or as a pesto substitute. The perfectly balanced taste between spicy, fruity and salty will transport you culinary to the south of Italy.
